🌿 Park Description
Castaways Park offers paved, mostly level loop paths which are perfect for pack walking. We will enjoy panoramic views of Newport Bay, harbor, and even glimpses of the ocean.
Amenities & Features
Parking lot: Dedicated free lot at corner of Dover Dr & Castaways Lane provides easy access.
Paved walking/biking path: Roughly 1–1.3 miles long with gentle grades.
Benches and overlooks: Offer scenic harbor and bay views.
Dog‑friendly: Leashed pets welcome along the trail.
Please Note
No restrooms within the park itself; public restrooms are available across the street at Bob Henry Park.

We are thrilled to announce that professional photographer Marcelo Santana of Wild Kinship Collective will be joining us for the Pack Walk! Marcelo will beautifully document our journey with candid and dynamic photos that capture the spirit of our pups and their people. These high-quality images will be available for purchase for those that wish. In addition, following the walk, Marcelo will be offering the opportunity for participants to have a special photo taken with their dog, set against the stunning harbor and park views. All pricing and session details will be coordinated directly between participants and the photographer after the pack walk.

Carbon Canyon Regional Park is home to Orange County’s only grove of redwoods; 3 acres of majestic Coastal Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens). A 1.1-mile nature trail to the park's beautiful Redwood Grove offers a special feature for adventuresome hikers, bird watchers and other amateur naturalists.
Five playgrounds, eight lighted tennis courts, two ballfields, three volleyball courts and a native plant garden also offer fun outdoor recreational opportunities for the whole family.

Central Park Pack Walk
Join us for a tail-waggin’ morning adventure in the heart of Huntington Beach! We'll be strolling through the scenic trails of Central Park—think open spaces, gorgeous nature vibes, and plenty of sniff-worthy spots for your pup.
Pack walks are a great way to level up your leash manners, meet like-minded folks, and create expose for your dogs in a structured manner.
After our walk, treat yourself (and your pup!) to a delicious bite at the Park Bench Cafe—yes, they have a special doggie menu and every table is pup-friendly!
Still got energy to burn? Swing by the iconic Huntington Dog Beach for some sand, surf, and tail-chasing fun! In addition, explore the downtown shops and walk on the pedestrian path along the ocean. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

St. Pawtricks Day Pack Walk

Join us for a great training opportunity amidst picturesque scenery. Remember to bring dog waste bags and an ample supply of water for both you and your furry companion. Our emphasis will be on refining leash etiquette, fostering tranquil pack walking, and enhancing socialization skills. It's important that all dogs remain leashed and under your supervision throughout the activity. Please aim to arrive a few minutes prior as our walk will commence promptly at 9:00 AM.

NOVEMBER PACK WALK
PACK WALK IS FULL!
Come along with us as we venture to the great outdoors, allowing our canine companions to enjoy the company of their pack.
Remember to bring water and waste bags. It's important that all dogs remain leashed and under the control of their owners throughout the entirety of the outing. Please refrain from using flexi-leashes. Our emphasis will be on refining leash etiquette, fostering tranquil pack walking, and enhancing socialization skills.

HOWL-O-WEEN PACK WALK
This will be an enjoyable night for you and your dog! Participants look forward to this fun filled event each year. Dogs are welcome to wear illuminated collars and leashes and humans are encouraged to decorate themselves in glow sticks from head to toe! Be silly and have fun with it!
$20 for first dog in household - $5.00 for second dog

We will start the day with a pack walk instructed by the team. This is an amazing opportunity to allow your dog to experience the power of the pack.
Following the pack walk, we will engage in field exercises and hands-on working sessions. Each trainer will guide the dogs utilizing their own unique style.
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to gain knowlege and insight from six distinct and highly talented indiviuals!

Kindly review the guidelines listed below:
Please bring dog waste bags and plenty of water for yourself and your pup.
Closed toe shoes highly recommended
Kindly refrain from allowing dogs to “greet” or encroach upon another dog’s space.
Please do not approach, speak to, or attempt to pet someone else’s dog.
No flexi-leashes please.
You are responsible for your dog at all times and assume all liability for any/all actions that may occur at the event.
Your dog is welcome to wear a muzzle if muzzle conditioned.
This is a JUDGMENT FREE ZONE!
